QUICK BITS
🎟️ Ticketmaster Takes the Stage
The City of Peterborough is partnering with Ticketmaster as its new ticketing provider, bringing mobile tickets, easier transfers and a smoother buying experience to local venues. The change starts Nov 9th with all future events, including Petes and Lakers games, moving to the platform for a more seamless fan experience.
🌿 Trent Gets Green Boost
Trent University just landed a $359,000 grant from TD Bank Group to expand its University Green Network, an 868-acre stretch of campus dedicated to conservation, Indigenous Knowledge, and hands-on learning. Over the next three years, the funding will help restore habitats, build wildlife corridors, and grow new cultural and ecological spaces through the Ggwepnandizamin Plan.
🏒 Petes Drop the Puck Early
Saturday’s Petes game against the Kingston Frontenacs now starts at 4:05 p.m. instead of 7:05 p.m. to dodge a possible World Series Game 7 clash between the Blue Jays and Dodgers. The change stays either way, so fans can catch both the puck and the pitch without missing a beat.
THE BORO BUSINESS
