Good morning, PTBO! Wow, November already? That came out of nowhere. Hope your weekend was full of spooks, scares, and maybe a little too much leftover candy. The frost is creeping in, the coffee’s getting hotter, and we’ve got plenty to warm up your week.

In today’s PTBO Brief:

  • 🚧 Hey West Enders! Brealey’s Back!

  • 🧠 Trent Gets $1 Million for Trauma-Informed Care

  • 🌊Coming Down The River

Let's get to it.

QUICK BITS

🚧 Hey West Enders! Brealey’s Back!

After a full summer of detours, Brealey Drive has finally reopened from Lansdowne all the way to Sherbrooke. The city’s finished up Phase 2 of the big rebuild, complete with new sidewalks, trails, and traffic lights. Smooth roads, happy suspensions — life’s good again on the west side.

🧠 Trent Gets $1 Million for Trauma-Informed Care

Trent University just scored a $1 million grant to bring trauma-informed practices into long-term care homes. Led by Dr. Kimberly Ritchie from the Trent/Fleming School of Nursing, the four-year project will help staff better support residents living with trauma and dementia—making care homes safer and more inclusive for everyone.
